For the week of 09-24-17
Cornerstone Church Weekly Update Email
What a wonderful Sunday morning we just had! I really enjoy spending time with church family members. We prayed together, studied the word in Sunday School, had a wonderful main service, and even went out to eat afterwards.
With a weekend like that, I'm really looking forward to this next week of church life together. By next weekend, Pastor Loper and Debbie will be back with us.
Have an amazing week!
Highlights from last week:
On Thursday at 7:00pm, the Great Commission Directive met in the Wellington room and watched part 2 of the Holy Spirit documentary. Join us in future weeks as we prepare to send teams out to the neighborhood. We'll be looking to start up outreach activities soon after the Loper's return.
On Saturday our Ladies Bible Study met for the first time and they had a great first session. They will be meeting again in 2 weeks on the 7th. Join them at Deisy's house for breakfast and study. Childcare provided.
This week, Isaac led Sunday School and David Heider preached our main service. Unfortunately, we had some recording difficulties and were not able to record the main service. We'll improve our system and try to capture next week.
Highlights from this week:
Monday this week, the Cowboys are playing on Monday Night Football, starting at 7:30pm. Feel free to join us at the Loper's to watch the game and spend some great time fellowshipping together. Contact Tabitha for more information.
Tuesday this week, we will be in the building planning 3rd floor renovations with a team from Borger. If you have some time and are interested in the building renovation, come join us. Contact Isaac for more information.
Wednesday this week, join us as we start a Beth Moore "Breaking Free" Bible Study. 7:30pm every Wednesday meeting in the church prayer room. Contact Charlissa for more information.
